Peer Review
After presenting my magazine, Chic Wear, many of my peers had suggestions of how to improve my project. Notably, I also received many compliments on my work along with recommendations. I was very happy to know that my peers liked it. Many admired my cover page design, the outline on the model and the color scheme. I incorporated a limited color scheme of pink and green; someone suggested that I include more green accents throughout the magazine to make it appear more cohesive. Unfortunately, I only really utilized the green color palette on the cover.
Anyhow, people said that my table of contents creatively matched the theme well. One girl even described the magazine as resembling the style of American girl doll, with the girlish pink vibe. Moreover, on my feature article I was complimented on the integration of my photographs, especially the column of outfit pictures down the left side of the page. I was told that I should break up the text for my article. I believe constructing shorter paragraphs is great advice, it will be easier and less intimidating to read. Additionally, a peer praised the small detail I added of the magazine title written at the top of the page in cursive.
In summation, I will definitely take all of my peers reviews of my magazine into consideration. Hopefully after following through with these suggestions my work will improve dramatically. I will definitely make sure to incorporate green throughout since this was a recurring piece of advice. Ultimately, I am content with the presentation of my magazine because most of my peers expressed admiration for it.
