Final Draft: Chic Wear

Post Production 2- Last Look

 I took one last look at my work and I am pleased with the final product. I am very proud of all the work I have put into this portfolio project. There was a lot of attention to detail and visual aesthetics. I found that I really enjoy designing and putting together a magazine.

Post Production 1- Finalizing Product

 In the end there wasn't much that I decided to change for my final product. I considered the suggestion of adding more green accents but I prefer the pink theme because it looks more simplistic and girly, which is fitting for the intended audience. I chose to follow the suggestion of breaking up my feature article into smaller paragraphs. Initially, the text on my feature article page consisted of two long columns. These ongoing paragraphs could seem intimidating to readers. The smaller paragraphs break up the sections of text and make it easier to read. 

Peer Review

 After presenting my magazine, Chic Wear, many of my peers had suggestions of how to improve my project. Notably, I also received many compliments on my work along with recommendations. I was very happy to know that my peers liked it. Many admired my cover page design, the outline on the model and the color scheme. I incorporated a limited color scheme of pink and green; someone suggested that I include more green accents throughout the magazine to make it appear more cohesive. Unfortunately, I only really utilized the green color palette on the cover.  Anyhow, people said that my table of contents creatively matched the theme well. One girl even described the magazine as resembling the style of American girl doll, with the girlish pink vibe. Moreover, on my feature article I was complimented on the integration of my photographs, especially the column of outfit pictures down the left side of the page.
